Hardwood floors lend a sense of warmth to your house and installing it is not very difficult if you follow these tips:

1) While installing hardwood flooring, open the hardwood flooring and let it get used to the external environment so it does not bend out of shape when you do try and install it
2) Prepare the flooring for installation and place some asphalt felt to reduce effects from water and reduce the creaking sound as well.
3) Place the central line of the flooring and then the rest of the boards so that you can get an idea of the spacing required.
4) Start nailing in the planks from the edge of the wall and cover the nailed portions with a wall skirting. This is an important step to install hardwood flooring.
5) After the starting point is laid, the rest of it is pretty routine. You need to keep adding the planks one by one by inserting the tongue of the panel by drilling and then nailing it. This is another step to install hardwood flooring.
6) Nail the panels to the floor after every couple of rows for a stronger hold
7) The last line of boards can be fitted with a bit of force and then nailed. Use skirting again to cover the visible nails and your hardwood flooring is done!

You are definitely going to enjoy using the hardwood flooring so though it might take some precision work, the installation is well worth it! This is how you actually install hardwood flooring.
